The Mark of the Rani

  This week's show resembled putting a jigsaw puzzle together as we had to splice together 5 seperate audio recordings. Adam, Ben, Kirby and Rhys begin the show with our review of Mark of the Rani. Adam then leaves the boys to it for 40 minutes while he takes Magic and Star to get their hair cut and you know how the saying goes; when the cat's away... we have the top 20 Doctor Who podcasts. Robert joins the party in Adam's absence and Ben sets up a new Facebook page in honour of Nicola Bryant's assets. Adam returns to look at feedback. Isabella and Alicia appear in the last segment of the programme to look at news and eBay.

The Mind Robber

Before recording this week's 48th anniversary of Doctor Who show, our very own Ben Shoveller appeared live on BBC Radio 2's Ken Bruce Show where he very kindly plugged The 20mb Doctor Who Podcast to an audience of 8 million listeners. Those of you who have chosen to dip your toe into our podcast as a result, thank you and thanks Ben for the mention. Our show begins with Ben's radio appearance.

Rhys and Kirby join Adam and Ben for our review of 2nd Doctor story, The Mind Robber. There is also a look at the preview of The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe that aired on Children In Need on Friday.

Vengeance on Varos Adam and Ben are back from holiday. Robert is poorly but Rhys is there to represent Australia. Kirby got up an hour earlier than necessary after the clocks in the UK went back an hour. This week we review the Colin Baker story, Vengeance on Varos. We also have an audio from a video that was recently posted on YouTube. Doctor Who - Cast & Crew Special http://youtu.be/giaMRyn47Xg is made in the style of Victoria Wood's "Let's Do It" sketches and songs. It features David Tennant, Catherine Tate and John Barrowman thanking Russell T. Davies and Julie Gardner for their excellent work on the series. There is also another video that is well worth a veiwing http://youtu.be/3s4Czla6tXc has the cast and crew singing and dancing to To The Proclaimers "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" (and includes a cameo by The Proclaimers) Features all the major cast members (even Lis Sladen *sigh*) and crew members including the visual effects guys with dancing adipose and even Sue from Catering. Isabella adds a Halloween element to the show as she attempts to emulate her absent big sister. We also have audio feedback from Ian Kirk and an email from Robert Haynes. We look at news and the Top 30 Doctor Who podcasts are revealed. Then there is news. Next week we will be looking at Tenth Doctor Story, Turn Left.

With Adam, Alicia, Debbie, Isabella and Ben on holiday Rhys was so keen to take over the podcast he very efficiently arranged a recording session with Kirby and Robert. However he forgot that Adam had already voiced the intention to record while away. This episode is an amalgamation of two recording sessions. One in the USA and Australia and the other in Fleetwood, near Blackpool. First of all Rhys, Robert and Kirby discuss the finale of The Sarah Jane Adventures plus some interesting digressions. They also take an age to talk about our email from Mary Lang and talk Doctor Who news. Adam, Alicia, Isabella and Debbie also talk Sarah Jane Adventures plus a review of the ninth doctor story, Fathers Day. Then there is eBay. Isabella also sings us a tune or two. No charts this week because of the lack of equipment and time. No dogs or clock this week either. Considering being on holiday and all the work Rhys put into editing this podcast, this episode took the longest to edit, 4 hours.
